My workshops
Every workshop you registered for — sessions and the join link, materials and recordings, session quizzes and assignments, your attendance, the calendar, and the certificate and review once the workshop ends.
As soon as your payment is confirmed, the workshop appears in My workshops with all its sessions.
- The summary: active workshops, sessions you attended out of those held, your attendance rate, and your certificates.
- Workshop progress: “Sessions 2 of 4” = how many sessions were held out of all of them. The picture shows the status (Active or Completed) and the workshop type.
- Your numbers in it: Attendance (red when below the certificate rate), Quizzes passed, and Assignments accepted.
- Next session: its name, time and how long until it starts, with Join once the link opens.
- The certificate:
- Your certificate is ready, with View.
- For the certificate: what is still missing — attendance, quizzes to pass, or assignments to get accepted.
- On track for the certificate: all good so far; it is issued when the workshop closes.
- Open the workshop: its page in your account.
The workshop page
At the top: the workshop header with where you stand and the next session. Below it, Sessions and materials: every session with its materials and recordings. Quizzes and assignments live in Quizzes and Assignments in the menu — see Quizzes and assignments.
-
Status: the type (live online / in person / blended), category, ongoing, upcoming or closed, and your registration. Below: the dates, the instructor and the workshop’s public page.
-
Where you stand: “Sessions 2 of 4”, your score (opens My grades), your attendance (in red when below the certificate rate), the quizzes you passed, the assignments accepted, and the final exam status if there is one. The quizzes, exam and assignments numbers take you to their page at this workshop, and a red number on one = things waiting for you: a quiz you have not passed yet, an open exam, or an assignment you have not submitted or that needs changes.
-
Next session: the nearest session, when (tomorrow, in two days…) and the join button.
-
Sessions: a timeline with a card per session, marked ✓ held, ● next (highlighted), ○ upcoming or ✕ cancelled. Under each session already held: “Attendance: You attended”, “You were absent” or “not recorded yet”, then its materials and recordings, one file per row.
-
Materials: the session files (slides, summaries) with their page count; View opens them in the site’s viewer. “Being prepared” means the file is still being made ready.
-
Recordings: the session video once it ends, with its length; Watch plays it inside the site.
-
The online session button (inside the session and in the header):
- Link 60 min before: the link is ready, but it is too early yet.
- Join the session: appears an hour before the session until it ends, and opens the meeting (Zoom or similar).
- Waiting for the link (yellow): the academy has not added the session link yet. It shows by itself once added — if it is already time, refresh the page in a minute.
- Ended: the session is over.
Under “Next session” a line tells you the link status: ready with the time the button shows, or waiting for the link. The same status shows in “My workshops”, the calendar and My dashboard.
An in-person session shows its venue in its row, and the Venue card on the side has the address and the Map.

Questions about this page: 3 questions that open when you click them: how to use the page, how your attendance is calculated with your own numbers, and when your score updates. The full explanation is below in How to use the page and Attendance and score.
How to use the page
- Before a session: the Join the session button shows in “Next session” at the top, an hour before it starts.
- After a session: its slides and recording are under it in Sessions and materials, with your attendance.
- Quiz: take it from Quizzes in the menu (or from the quizzes number at the top). You can try again if attempts are left, and your best grade counts.
- Assignment: submit it from Assignments in the menu before its due date. If the instructor returns it as “Needs changes”, fix it and submit again.
- A red number next to the quizzes or assignments number at the top means something there is waiting for you. Start with it.
- Follow yourself: your score is at the top, with its details and weakest part in My grades; what the certificate still needs is on the workshop card in “My workshops”.
- After the workshop ends: the certificate is issued if the conditions are met, and you can rate the workshop.
Attendance and score
How your attendance is calculated
- The instructor or the academy records attendance by hand after every session: present or absent. Opening the session link alone does not record attendance.
- The rate = the sessions you attended ÷ the sessions held so far (started and not cancelled).
- Example: 4 sessions were held and you attended 3 = 75%.
- A session whose attendance is “not recorded yet” counts as absent until the instructor records it. Each session’s status is written under it in the timeline.
- Cancelled and upcoming sessions do not count.
- This rate is the certificate condition (75% here), and it is 40% of your score in the workshop.
- If a session shows the wrong status, contact the academy.
When your score updates
Automatically, without you doing anything: the score is recalculated every time you open the page. Each part counts once it is graded:
| Part | When it counts |
|---|---|
| Quiz | As soon as you submit it, with your best grade |
| Assignment | When the instructor reviews it. An accepted one raises your score; “Needs changes” counts as zero until you fix it and it is accepted. Submitting alone does not change the score. One past its due date with no submission counts as zero |
| Attendance | When the instructor records it |
| Final exam | When it is graded. Choice questions grade themselves; short answers, essays and files are graded by the instructor |
Refresh the page to see the latest numbers. The weights and grades are explained in My grades.
Workshop quizzes
The academy can add a quiz to a session; it appears in Quizzes in the menu, in the workshop’s group, once published — see Quizzes and assignments. It works exactly like course quizzes — see Quizzes.
And the quiz page itself (Back to quizzes takes you back to the workshop’s group):
- The session: which session the quiz belongs to.
- Quiz details: number of questions, the time in minutes (every quiz has a timer), the attempts left, and the pass mark.
- Where you stand: Start the quiz, Resume the attempt if one is in progress, or your score once you pass.
- Your attempts: each attempt with its score and status; Result opens your answers — the correct answers and explanations appear once you pass or use up your attempts.
Workshop assignments
The academy can add an assignment to a session; it appears in Assignments in the menu, in the workshop’s group, once published (and you get a “New assignment” notification) — see Quizzes and assignments.
And the assignment page itself (Back to assignments takes you back to the workshop’s group):
- The due date: the last moment to submit, if there is one.
- Assignment files: a form or an example from the instructor; it opens in the viewer for reading only (no download) — like the materials.
- Where you stand: Submit by… / Submitted — awaiting review / Accepted / Needs changes — with the team’s note if there is one.
- Your answer: write it here (optional if you attach a file).
- Files: up to 3 PDF, image, Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, 20 MB each. When you update, new files replace the old ones; without new files the old ones stay.
- Submit: you can change your submission until the due date as long as the team has not reviewed it.
The workshop’s final exam
If the workshop has a final exam, it shows first in the workshop’s group in Quizzes (and its status in “where you stand” at the top): its window, duration, pass mark, where you stand, and one button (start / resume / see your result). It works exactly like a course exam — see The final exam. If it says Needed for the certificate, the certificate on closing also needs you to pass it.
Survey
The academy may ask your opinion of the workshop or course with a few multiple-choice questions. When it opens the survey you get a notification and an email, and it shows in “To do” on My dashboard, above “My workshops” or “My courses”, and on the side of the workshop page.
- The survey: the name of the workshop or course.
- A question: pick one answer. Every question needs an answer.
- Send my answers: you answer once, and you cannot change your answers after sending. Then you see “Thank you” with your answers.
The materials viewer
- The bar: back to the workshop, the file and session name, the page number, and zoom in / out.
- The watermark: your name and email shown over the pages.
The calendar
At the top there are two buttons: Calendar (opens by default) and Timeline.
- Export to my calendar (.ics): a file you add to your phone, Google or Outlook calendar, so your sessions sit next to your other plans.
- Session details: when you click a session: time and duration, the link button, and Open the workshop.
- Month / Week: the view.
- Navigation: previous and next month, and Today.
- A session: each session on its day, with the time.
- Calendar / Timeline: how the page shows your sessions.
The timeline
Your upcoming sessions in order, without flipping through months.
- The day: “Today”, “Tomorrow” or the weekday and date, with how long is left (“in 4 days”).
- Next session: the nearest session, flagged with its countdown (“in 22 h”). A session running right now shows Happening now.
- The session button: the same as on the workshop page. An online session’s link shows an hour before; an in-person one has a Map button.
- Instructor: name and photo; click to open their page.
- Place: “Online”, or the venue, city and address for an in-person session.
- Open the workshop: its page with the materials, quizzes and assignments. Next to it, the session’s duration.
A cancelled session shows crossed out. At the very bottom, Past sessions are folded; click to open them.
Reminders reach you 24 hours and one hour before each session (you can turn them off in notification preferences).
When the workshop ends
- Where you stand: the final numbers — attendance, quizzes and assignments.
- Certificate: Issued, with its date and verification code, and View my certificate — see Certificates.
- Your review: if you attended at least one session, Rate the workshop with stars and a comment — see Reviews.
